Medicare Pays 100%
For qualified patients, Medicare pays 100% of the costs related to Southeast Home Health Care services. Patients must currently meet Medicare's definition of homebound, must require the skilled services of a nurse or therapist, and must have a doctor following their care. Call for details.
Medicaid and private insurance may also pay for our services. Southeast Home Health Care can also work with private pay contracts.
Taking a Stand against Falls
Every year, one third of community-dwelling seniors experience an accidental fall. This makes fall injuries the number one cause of injury deaths among seniors and the number one source of injury related hospital admissions among seniors. Recent research has demonstrated that fall injuries are preventable.
If you are over the age 65 and have experienced an accidental fall in the past six months, you are at high risk for future falls and possible injury. Southeast Home Health Care can greatly improve your safety at home, and Medicare will pay 100% of the costs for Southeast Home Health Care services. Our fall prevention program includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, and skilled nursing. Our plan includes balance training, gait training, medication review, and home safety modifications. Southeast delivers a complete, multi-disciplinary fall prevention plan that seniors at risk of fall injury need.
